Oh my god. I just want to say wow for making it to the F2. So much transpired during the tenure of the game and I'm stoked to have been one of the two people that made it to the end. There's been alot of friends made, enemies created, alliances formed, tribes broken, etc .. but in the end, I think we all made this a season worth remembering and when future seasons come about, they'll know we set the bar really high. I really had no idea that this game would be one of the most super engaging and dramatic games, so I definitely got a handful and a big surprise when the game moved into full gear. So, color me amazed – every single one of you made this game crazy fun and I enjoyed every second of it. Thanks to all of you for making it amazing and thank you to the Sara for doing her PW duties, and also Nicki for being an amazing host! I'll stop raving about the game now, LOL!
Before we get into anything else, I came into this game with one other person, and that person was Kelly. Sadly, both she and I were separated, as she was on Anagana and I was on Tortola. But we managed to survive on both our tribes and make it to the merge, which was awesome in the end. But, let's start at the beginning. Tribes were announced and I landed on Tortola. Upon tribes getting sorted, I immediately started talking with James and Todd at the end of the first challenge. We all had one thing in common, and that was that each of us were playing characters from the real season of China. Having this similarity and already feeling comfortable with one another, we made the China alliance and vowed to goto the end together. I was going to keep this promise no matter what. I was loyal to China, just as I was to Kelly. My Final Four at the start of the game, had you asked me, would have been myself, James, Todd, and Kelly. That would have been my dream Final Four. But of 'course that didn't happen much to my dismay.
Even with the China alliance made, it seemed as though we wouldn't even really need it, due to Tortola winning every single week. The week we lost, it seemed like a tribe consensus to boot Eliza because she was busy with school, ie: midterms, exams. After Eliza left, we continued to win and take control of the entire pre-merge, but the fear still lingered that if we lost again, China could be in danger, because were only 3 members in a tribe of 7 at the time. I was presented with the opportunity to align with Joel, and once Joel and I made an alliance we pulled both Parvati and Todd in as well. This secured China's safety, because China now had some pull with Joel and Parvati's votes if we needed them. We didn't need them, as merge hit, and the three remaining Anagana players joined us and Arona was born into the game. One of those people, was yes, my pre-game .. Kelly. <3
This hopefully clears up some confusion if some of Tortola wondered why it was so easy to turn on Tortola and stick with Anagana; my friend Kelly was on Anagana. Kelly had her alliance of Carolina and Na'Onka and I had my alliance of James and Todd. This worked for us, because it was 3 and 3, and it was even in numbers, that way no one would get paranoid and think someone else was going to flip. Jenn left the first round of the merge for not being tied to anyone else alliance wise, Ethan then followed her out the game for the same reason. When it came to Joel and Parvati's votes, I was torn. I did not vote for Parvati to leave the game, I voted for Carolina to leave the game that round, as I couldn't find it in myself to vote her out, because I did truly like Parvati. But James and Todd stuck with Anagana and it was a 5-3 vote for her to leave. This was the round where Joel's score was so phenomenal that it pissed people off, so he was next on the chopping block. James had sent out PMs to everyone stating the case that Joel had to go, and I did goto Joel and let him know that I thought he was going and that people were voting for him to leave. i wasn't going to lie and play it off like he'd stay in the game.
Everyone was pretty much set on voting him out and probably already had, so if I were to send PMs out to counter James' PMs, that would have ruined my relationship with James at that point in the game and could have put me under a spotlight I didn't want, sticking up for Joel, and that could've put a target on my back. I hated having to vote Joel out, but I couldn't cast a sympathy vote without being singled out and targeted, because I had already escaped unscathed with the Parvati vote, and no one raising any eyebrows. The following round was the round Kelly got voted out from the game. The general word was that she didn't seem as into the game, missing 3 challenges, etc. This was the truth and Kelly even admitted to me that she hadn't been as into it as she had been at the start, so my pre-game got sent packing to Ponderosa, and it was all China or nothing at all for me. Drama erupted that round with Na'Onka turning on Anagana to vote out Kelly, and this caused Carolina to freak out. The Na'Onka versus Carolina battled lasted into the next round when Carolina was voted out. That was a crazy round, lmao.
But, in my honest opinion, nothing tops what happened in the F4. James showed his true colors as he flipped on Todd and I and joined forces with Na'Onka. He forced a tie, without answering any PMs or even talking to Todd or I, and left either Todd or Na'Onka to die. To his luck, Na'Onka stayed and my ideal F2 at that point, Todd, was sent out of the game. At this stage of the game, after alot of competition wins under my belt, I knew I had to win this F3 challenge or I was done. James and Na'Onka were going to take eachother to the end and I knew this. I overcame those odds and I won, guaranteeing my spot in the finals. And now, here I am, hoping to take the crown as the sole survivor of Survivor: Virgin Islands. Whether you vote for James, or whether you for me, I respect your vote. Each of you on the Jury got your spot because you were able to outlast all the over the top drama in this game, and that makes you each deserving of your position. I have no hard feelings towards any of you on the Jury, so yeah. Thanks for reading, and I can’t wait to answer what questions you have to ask! Thanks again everyone! <3
