Hey everyone! Reaching the end of what is a highly successful game is a real prize already. I haven't made it this far in any of my ORGs in a long time, so being here in the finale is something I pride myself in accomplishing. Reaching this point in the game couldn't have been possible without all of you along the way, so thank you. Signing up for this competition, I planned to come into it playing sly and sneakily. I wanted to be a power player and I wanted to make moves in this game. On Tortola, I wasn't as outspoken or as vocal as I was when the merge came and with reason. My strategy was to swim under the surface, dodge any targets that could have come my way before the merge. My #1 goal upon joining was to make it to the merge, because once I was there, that's when I really planned on making power moves and turning this game upside down, all while helping me reach what everyone wanted: the F2 seats. I'll try to summarize my game right now.
Tortola was comprised of alot of competitive players as it was. This contributed to the fact that Tortola won all but one competition before the merge. Green winning every round also helped me being UTR, easier. I didn't have to come up above the surface and campaign if we lost or anything close to it. Tortola had a free ride for the first half of the game if you ask me, and that is why I think if Na'Onka was sitting here right now, she would have creamed whoever was sitting next to her. With the plan of me being UTR the first half of the game, an alliance also was created between Ashley, Todd, and I. I got along with Ashley and Todd the most from my tribe and talked to them the most. In addition to that alliance, I also had a side alliance with Parvati, which I asked her for. While the China 3 was great, I wanted a back-up to protect myself in case something backfired or went wrong.
While we still were in tribes, I got a PM from Na'Onka stating that she wanted to align with me and have a cross-tribal alliance. I think we made our secret F2 alliance in Round 3 or 4, I am not positive. I'll have to double check. But it was around that time that Na'Onka proposed an alliance and I was with it. Making the merge, having China 3, Parvati, and Na'Onka was promising and I knew when I got there, my desire to make power moves would be a reality. Merge rolls around and everything is intact. Jenn is sent packing in a epic blindeside that the majority of Tortola didn't even see coming, besides China. The funny part about all of it is when she and Ethan tried to flip the votes to get Na'Onka to go, and trying to send my F2 out right at the start of the merge. It backfired and blew up in their face though and Ethan followed Jenn the week after which was also a good week.
I started to catch on to Joel at this part of the game. He was doing kind of what I was doing, laying low, not being outspoken or anything and I wanted to make the move to get him out, as Parvati and I were aligned and I didn't want to vote her out and I didn't want to lose Na'Onka's trust and vote out one of her Anagana alliance members either. Joel ended up winning the challenge with about a minute score which was ridiculous especially for someone hadn't spoken as much and came out of the blue with a win like that. After I saw that score, I rallied everyone and let them know that Joel was a threat and he had to go next week, but that this week it seemed that the inevitable was Parvati exiting the game, and just as I proposed, Parvati left the game. My movement to get Joel out was successful the next week because he didn't even show for the challenge and when I noticed that I believed it was an attempt to make him look less threatening which made me want him out more - and he was sent packing too. Everything was going my way.
Next round continued to be easy, as I charmed Na'Onka into turning on Anagana and joining the remaining Tortola tribe members which were the China 3. She did it, and Kelly was gone. Following Kelly, Carolina tried to fight to stay and get back at Na'Onka but bit the dust and was sent packing. One by one, my opposition was sent packing out of this game. Anyone who tried to take me on, my allies on... they had to go and they weren't sent out of the game... no questions asked. Final Four was the round where my game came to light and everyone knew what type of game I was playing. I was the backstabber. I turned on Ashley and Todd and pledged my public allegiance to Na'Onka. The tie was made and luck was with me that night and Todd was sent packing. Another one down! Only one was left... and that was Ashley. It turned out that luck wasn't on my side this time as Ashley won, but luck reemerged when Ashley chose to take me here to the end.
I look forward to all your questions and comments, so let's get this started.
