I'm going to start by saying, congratulations to both you Ashley, and you James. It's bittersweet to see two of the three China alliance members in the F2. Sweet to see Ashley sitting here, bitter to see James sitting here over me. I'm going to probably cut you guys some slack and not waste your time, as I already have my vote planned, and I know who I'm voting to win the game. Let's not fool anyone here on that one. I just want to say, Ashley, you played a great game in my eyes, you stayed loyal to your first alliance in this game and as much as the Kelly pre-game alliance is brand new information to my ears, I still think you played a solid game both socially and competitively, being the only person here to win the most competitions. Competitions are a big factor of this game and all the times you won, I did notice that you won at the times you needed them most, the biggest being the F4, where it could have been you in my position and in Ponderosa right now.
James, you seemed to play an impressive game, behind-the-scenes and you pulled some strings to get to where you are right now. But it's all fogged up with the fact that you turned your back on a Day One/Two alliance that was made in this game, that was so loyal to one another, and for what? To align with Tortola's enemy all game.. an Anagana? It baffles me that you would do something so pointless and reckless. But then it dawned on me after I read your Opening Statement. Your whole statement was about how you wanted to make power moves at the merge, and while you may have done that.. it seems like you only made them for the sake of making them. You didn't even think about the repercussions that would come about after you made them, you just made them to be bold and brash and without any type of reason except for making a big scene. It has "entertainment" value, but it lacks strategic game. I may be bias right now, but so be it.. that's how I see it.
Looking past all of that, good luck to both of you answering some of these people's questions. Alot of them are overly bitter and whiney (lmao) because things didn't go their way, but just know that you both did alot to get to where you are, whether it be reckless or what be it, you did it. So once more, congratulations for outlasting and outplaying all of us and making it to the F2. Good luck you two.
